Today’s frantic, crazy-daze shows take place in nearly public environments of stylists, producers, modeling agents, hair curlers and the assistant to the assistant of the assistant. All carry phones with camers.
While trying to protest both privacy and imagery in an increasingly public, digital world, there is a philosophical shrug of the shoulders emerging at the same time. It’s the equivalent of photographers trying to control the flow of printed fashion editorial. C’est impossible.
