A Breast Here; A Breast There
Alexa here. NYTimes style writer Guy Trebay reflects on nudity and the business of seeing naked people as being … well, rather humdrum. I can relate.
Editing through hundreds of photos of naked women for BuzzNoirBabes is not erotic after awhile. Looking at the most private parts of a girl’s anatomy, I become totally pragmatic in my assessment of which photo to post.
Tim Blanks, a contributing editor for Style.com and Men.Style.com sums it up for Trebay: “It’s all context… When you see some doll walking down the catwalk in some sheer thing or nearly naked, it’s fashion … If you saw that same girl pole dancing in a club, it would be hot.”
Trebay reminds us that times have changed for models, even in the fashion industry. A decade ago, one had to persuade models like Naomi Campbell and Stephanie Seymour to change clothes anywhere but in a private space. (more after the photo)
